Climb Ingleborough

The Finest Of All, A Classic

- ALFRED WAINWRIGHT

This route up Ingleborough, through the stunning Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail, past Ingleborough Cave, (grab tickets and head underneath Ingleborough mountain to complete this classic Yorkshire Dales overground underground day out), Trow Gill (a huge limestone gorge carved out by the meltwater from the last ice age 14,000 years ago) and Gaping Gill (a 100m deep pothole), is the most scenic and most easily navigated.

Please come suitably prepared to walk approximately 9 miles with reasonably rough terrain underfoot. We accept no responsibility for accidents suffered whilst walking this route up Ingleborough.
